WE started our walk from Easington Colliery car park and onto the coastal path, coming back onto and crossing the main road and up through the fields to arrive at the Welfare Grounds. Our path (which virtually run parallel to Seaside Lane) continued along the side of these grounds and into a fenced field with horses grazing. Apples were offered but they showed little interest but a couple sauntered over to accept the gifts. Onwards into a housing estate which much to our groups delight led us to a zip wire. As can be seen from the photographs a ride was essential a good laugh was had by all. We then continued on our way arriving at Easington Village Green then onto Pettwell Lane a quiet country lane leading us past the Canada housing estate. A fine view of the coast from this vantage point, the walk then joins the new pathways laid around the Pit Cage area and onto our walks finishing point.
