Four of the group went to the Customs House Paddy Killer exhibition yesterday.

Her talent is historical lace from 16th 17th and 19th centuries and transferring the patterns onto silk and glass and paper. It is very intricate and beautiful work and some patters taken from her grandmothers samples.

It is a small exhibition but worth seeing if you are visiting South Shields before the end of March.
