On April 16th, the Art Appreciation Group went to the Bowes Museum to see an exhibition featuring Gerald Scarfe’s drawings of former Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher.

We were fortunate to enjoy a talk by Greville Worthington (pictured kneeling), the curator of the exhibition, who had the creative vision which inspired him to put together some of the original drawings of the finest political cartoonist of our time which exposed the strengths and weaknesses of one of the most significant political figures  of recent times.
