Members of this group range from those who hadn’t played before through

to more seasoned players. A few tutorials, a readiness to share knowledge of the game and fast learning and all are able to participate and enjoy a good game of progressive whist.

A number of members take turns to host the game which is played with relish and a competitive spirit but in a relaxed atmosphere so no-one feels they’ve let the side down if a mistake’s made. After the game members enjoy a chat over coffee and cake.

Everyone has a good time and looks forward to a rematch at 2pm on the second Friday of the month.
