Saturday 9th April-Hexham and Brocksbushes farm shop and tearoom cost £14

We will leave Houghton at 10.00am picking up at Dairy Lane, Broadway and Seaham.

We will stop at Brocksbushes Garden Centre where you can enjoy their scrumptious food (coffee and cake, brunch or early lunch), browse in their farm shop where locally grown fresh produce can be found. There are garden plants and stuff.

We will then proceed to Hexham, alighting by the Abbey which is a very interesting historic building with a lovely shop and a coffee shop with light lunches.

There are many eateries including Wetherspoons, and a visit to Molly Moo’s ice-cream parlour, a must for afficionados.

The farmer’s market is on with locally produced items for sale.

If you want to go, place your fare in an envelope with your name, destination and date.

Saturday 14th May- Keswick cost £16

We leave Houghton at 9.30 picking up at the usual places.

There is a farmers’ market, or you can visit the Lakes distillery for gin or Keswick Brewing company for beer. You can visit the Keswick Museum or just explore the town and shops.

If you want to go put your money in an envelope with your name destination and date.
