Thirteen members turned out on a very cold day for the photography group’s Mar. 2nd outing to Penshaw monument and Herrington park,.The ten hardiest bolstered with coffee and scones at the Penshaw cafe climbed up to the monument, while three softees (me being one) took pictures from below. We then headed down to the lake armed with a loaf of seedy bread to keep the swans, ducks and gulls happy, while giving us the opportunity for some more pictures. A good outing only marred by the cold and wind.
