On Friday 17th April, 34 Red Hatter’s attended afternoon tea at the Beamish Hall Hotel.  Everyone looked splendid in their red hats and purple attire. There was a real buzz in the room with friendliness and enjoyment and of course the tea was good as well.

Gordon Ayre kindly put together a “Red Hatter” anthem.  This was greatly received and all the Red Hatters sang this with a lot of merriment and of course enthusiasm.

Thanks Gordon I think our Red Hatters group can be proud that we have our very own song.  (See separate article).

A big thank you all for attending and we look forward to our next Red Hatter event in October when we are off to Edinburgh – so watch this space.
