About 19 miles from Seaham, approx journey time 30mins.

Meet at café 10.45am  for 11 am

The nearest metro station is Palmersville.

The  four walks are mainly flat with well made paths.

Directions to the Country Park:-

A19 from Seaham to Tyne Tunnel . £1.70 toll

Continue on A19 at roundabout, road works here, beside Silverlink Shopping Outlet, go straight on, still on A19.

Take the next exit left onto A191/186 signed Gosforth.

At roundabout take the 1st exit left  onto Holystone Way, look out for the brown signs advertising the Country Park and duck logo.

At roundabout continue on the main road,  straight ahead, on  the Holystone Way.

At the next roundabout take the 1st exit left , Wheatsheaf Pub ahead, Whitley Road.

Very soon you turn left BEFORE  Asda, brown sign, and follow the road to the free car park.

Meet at the café beside the play park.

GOING HOME. Leave car park and then turn right onto the main road, Whitley Road.  It can be a busy road so you could go left until the roundabout and double back on yourself. Drive up to main roundabout and keep in the right hand lane until the 4th exit onto the A19. Tyne Tunnel then home.
